Palliative care focuses on improving quality of life for patients with severe, incurable illness by relieving pain and other distressing symptoms.
Diagnostics
ECG
A painless examination measuring the electrical activity of the heart. It helps to diagnose arrhythmias and other cardiac conditions.
Laboratory
Blood, urine and other samples are analysed to detect illness, monitor your health and plan treatment.
Lung function testing
Measures the performance of your lungs and is used to diagnose and monitor respiratory diseases such as asthma and COPD.
24-hour blood pressure monitoring
Your blood pressure is measured regularly over 24 hours to obtain precise values throughout the day.

Home and hotel visits
If an acute illness keeps you from coming to the practice, I will come to your home or hotel.
Blood samples by appointment
Blood samples are possible on Tuesday and Thursday mornings by prior appointment.
Private billing
I work exclusively on a private basis. Payment is possible in cash or by debit card. I am happy to issue an invoice that you can submit to your health insurer.

About me
I was born in Berlin in 1965, am married and have three children. I completed my studies in human medicine at the Free University of Berlin in November 1993.
I practise evidence-based medicine. I listen carefully, examine and order the technical and laboratory tests that are useful and purposeful. I discuss the results in detail along with the therapies I consider sensible and necessary. Caring for patients with chronic and/or severe illness has always been close to my heart, and support in palliative situations is a matter of course for me.
Training and career
- November 1993: degree in human medicine, Free University of Berlin
- Training in internal medicine, paediatrics, surgery, orthopaedics and rheumatology
- August 2010: board examination as specialist in internal and general medicine, Brandenburg Medical Association
- January 2011 to December 2021: own family practice in Berlin
- Advanced training in pain therapy and anti-ageing medicine (University of Dresden)
- Today: private practice in Artà, Mallorca
